I've embarked on a 3 week journey, a vacation of sorts. I am experiencing freedom from the binds of education and liberation from a system rooted in legalism. Grades, papers, speeches - down with them, I say! But education surrounds me, I can't leave it behind in the walls of my college. I am plagued by the reality of the work load I have taken on. You see, with my school, as Gordo Rangs often compares to kindergarten, the lines become blurred between school and the outside world. My social endeavors really aren't outside of my education, they are a vital factor that affects the rest of my studies. My weekly bible studies with Patrick are a Religion course and learning about my food allergies, an elective in Nutrition. Learning to communicate effectively in the relationships around me is an Honors course in Sociology and Linguistics that keeps me awake at night studying for.

I have to get back to homework for my English course now, you see I am doing very poorly in this subject. My longhand is awful and I miss my weekly assignments. I have 8 pages of writing to make up to a dear friend across the world. You might know her: Irma McCrery.
